Apex Height

The highest point the ball reaches in flight.

What it is

Apex is the maximum height the ball reaches during its flight. It's a quick read on your trajectory and is shaped by launch angle, spin, and ball speed.

Why it matters

Apex height influences how the ball lands and holds greens. A trajectory that's too low can struggle to stop; one that's too high can lose distance and get pushed around by wind.

How to improve it

Raise apex with more launch or spin; lower it with less. Matching apex to the shot — higher to hold a green, lower to fight wind — is a mark of control.
