“A really cool old secret place that is owned by the city of Melrose MA. This place was first built in 1933 by the Works Progress administration during the great depression. Several beautiful ponds, a golf course and hiking trails. You can hike to the tower (built during WWII to watch out for German submarines) and have a long range view out to the ocean” — Mike Longenbaker, rated 5 out of 5 on Google (2 years ago)

“Awesome place to golf or walk. Love the scenic beauty in the city.” — R. Ham., rated 5 out of 5 on Google (4 years ago)

“Grumpy staff and over priced for fall golf. We had a 10am tee time but there was a two hour frost delay. Would have been nice if they called and let us know ahead of time, didn’t tee off until 1040. Round took 5 hours no rangers in sight which is a crazy thought for a weekend. For 75$ the course was in rough shape besides the greens. Leaves EVERYWHERE. For that price I’d hope they leaf blow at least a little bit. Lost 2 balls in the fairway and a bunch more in the rough because of it. Course layout is great but all the other details kinda ruined it for me.” — Alan Dagesse, rated 2 out of 5 on Google (5 years ago)
