“My husband booked Mother’s Day brunch here and it was absolutely perfect. Sometimes Mother’s Day brunch is overstimulating and chaotic but here it felt so relaxing and enjoyable. All the details were immaculate. A complimentary Photo Booth, music at the perfect volume, friendly and attentive staff and beautiful scenery. The food was delicious, especially for buffet food. Most buffets are cold or rushed but every single item was delicious, down to the coffee. The options were endless and even the kids were happy. I will point out that it’s pricey but comparable to other higher end brunch options for the day. Thinking of making it our yearly tradition! “My friend and I played a great early morning 9 hole, par 3, course. It's absolutely beautiful, and a good course for a faster play. This was my first time here but we're playing again next week because it was so fun. We played before work on a Wednesday. We had the place to ourselves with an 8:30 tee time. I was told there are three 9 hole courses, but you should look at their website to verify that. The warm-up/practice areas are wonderful. I would recommend this place for any skill level, but especially beginners on the strategic course that's on the right when you first pull in. There are good obstacles, but nothing terribly frustrating. The course is one of the better maintained that I've seen. You'll like this place. “If you’re looking for a sign to head over to Fox Hills for their fish dinner, this is it. We went in expecting a solid meal, but we walked out wondering if we should start a fan club for the staff. The Food Let's talk about the star of the show: the Fish Dinner. The batter was perfectly crisp—the kind of golden-brown crunch that makes you feel like you've won a culinary trophy—and the fish inside was fresh, flaky, and piping hot. It’s a classic done exactly right. The Real Secret Ingredient: Lorie While the food was fantastic, our waitress, Lorie, absolutely stole the show. It’s rare to find service that is as much of a highlight as the meal itself, but she managed it effortlessly. Hilariously Witty: Lorie has a sense of humor that kept us grinning between bites. She brought a great energy to the table that made the whole evening feel like a celebration. Expertly Attentive: Our drinks never hit the "dangerously low" zone, and she seemed to know exactly when we needed a refill before we even had to ask. Genuinely Pleasant: You can tell when someone truly enjoys what they do. Her warmth made us feel like regulars, even if it was just a standard night out. “Fox Hills (Summerhouse) was the perfect wedding venue. Our point of contact leading up to the event was Catie. She was so easy and fun to work with - she responded to my many questions very promptly and thoughtfully, and found ways to accommodate all of our requests. She was kind and thoughtful throughout the entire process! The venue itself was exactly what we were looking for - it felt an outdoor garden party turned wedding. The wood, string lights, and chandeliers create a warm, romantic atmosphere. The open walls let our guests wander in and out throughout the night, enjoying the night air and then returning to party on the dance floor. In terms of offerings, it was really nice from a planning perspective that there was a lot included in the base package (cheese and crackers, coffee, chairs, tables, linens, etc) but you could add on or adjust as much as you like. It made planning less intimidating, but also gave us space to be creative where we wanted! The staff was extremely professional and attentive to us and our guests all night. “Our wedding day on 5.17.25 at the Golden Fox at Fox Hills exceeded every expectation! We held both our ceremony and reception at the venue and even enjoyed a round of golf the day before. The venue itself gave us that “wow” factor we had been searching for with beautifully maintained grounds, stunning photo opportunities, and a ballroom filled with natural light. It felt like a dream. What truly sets Fox Hills apart is their incredible attention to detail. They have thought of everything to help make the planning process smoother and less stressful. Every staff member we interacted with was kind, professional, and genuinely committed to making our day special. From the delicious appetizers to our custom signature drinks, everything was exactly as we envisioned. Dinner service was prompt, with meals served hot and beautifully presented.
