“Really really nice golf course. Fairways are perfect, greens are pristine. Everything you could want in a golf course. The staff. Not so much. We shopped around the club house and bought some items and they looked at us like we weren’t supposed to be there. Rented clubs and the ladies clubs were half mens and they means clubs were only regular shafts. No, I’m sorry maybe a discount. “Based on my experience, I have concerns that Orlando Rodriguez’s actions reflected racial bias. During a practice session, the person next to me left and told me I could use his ball, so I did. I had already paid for a bucket of balls. He approached me and said, "It's not yours. Buy your own ball," then kicked the ball off my practice mat. I found his behavior rude, confrontational, and unprofessional. What concerned me was that a white father and son nearby were also using balls that had been left behind, yet he did not confront them or speak to them in the same manner. I was singled out and treated differently. Based on what I observed, I was left with concerns that race may have played a role in how I was treated. “Bobby Jones is an immaculate golf course, not only by public standards, but by any standards. From the tee boxes, fairways, greens and facilities, it’s all pristine. You get what you pay for. My one gripe is they lack a starter a lot of the time and there are no rangers keeping up pace or playing. “What a fantastic golf experience! The staff everywhere was friendly and very helpful. The course was very fun and in great shape considering the winter conditions. 9 holes of beautiful golf, and it’s reversible?! I can’t wait to go back and play the other layout. Practice facilities are top notch too. Putting green, large range, and even a “Putting Course” near the clubhouse with some seriously tricky putts! “Had a great experience at the course on Sunday during a lesson with Daniel Fowler. I went with two friends—two of us are pretty new to golf, and one has more experience—and Daniel did an awesome job working with all of us. He gave clear tips, kept things fun, and made sure everyone got individual attention. We hit the driving range afterward to put everything into practice and left feeling much more confident. If you’re looking for lessons and want someone who’s knowledgeable, encouraging, and easy to work with, definitely book with Daniel.
