“Drove 12hrs to visit family and play golf in Iowa. This is the first course I played. My family played putt putt course while I played the regular course. The whole experience was outstanding. We felt welcome throughout the whole process. As far as the course layout it can be challenging if you never play here before (me)😁Slopes, valley, and few blind spots for sure but it is really worth playing on this course. “We recently had our rehearsal dinner at Toad Valley and it was a huge success! Jaycene was easy to work with and very helpful. We were able to come in and get everything set up just right. We received lots of compliments on the food and location. The bridal party had fun mini golfing after the dinner. We used the small building outside the clubhouse. “I called to make a teatime one day in Advance and was very pleased that there was an 810 opening in the morning, now I know why. I understand that It is spring but the course is in horrible shape. The tee boxes are closed and every hole is 100+ yards shorter on average. Most I have ever paid for a round in Des Moines at $65!!! 10 out of 10 do not recommend! “Took the family here tonight to the driving range. My kids are 4 and 6 and never have golfed. It was perfect for them. They can be loud and hit a few balls, while me and the wife hit some also. The games on the screens made it fun for them. The pizza was good. All said and done we paid 60 bucks. I’ll take that all day. “Another exciting and successful season coming to an end. Today Valley Golf Club (TVGC) was amazing in 2023. The greens, fairways, and treeline were well kept. Kudos to the grounds General caretaker. Throughout 2023 season the staff were amazing, friendly, and courteous. They are truly the epitome in total customer service satisfaction when it comes to treating their members and nonmembers All the staff provided flawless customer service. First sure we will be back in 2024 and looking forward to the new and improved driving range and the top tracer sims.
