“Very poorly ran place. Went in last Saturday, and had a terrible time. The simulators barely work. I had to constantly ask for assistance on fixing it, and each time it took 5-10 minutes for the “bartender” to come over. And yes it is in air quotes because the drinks are horrible, and in my water the lemon was slimy and clearly old. Not a single manager in site to address my concerns either. Clearly the lack of management reflects on the service I received.” — Corey, rated 1 out of 5 on Google (a month ago)
“The bartender paid little attention to us and seemed much more focus on who I assume was her boyfriend that was sitting at the bar. He was also the one controlling aux, and changed the song around every 30 seconds. I don't think I heard a full song played. We stood at the front waiting to check in for a while before she acknowledged us. We booked a one hour slot, had no time warnings at all, ended the game ourselves, and then got charged for going 15 minutes over. The rental clubs are also not great- extremely flimsy, but I guess you can bring your own. Our ball dispenser was also broken, so we had to use the left-handed golfer machine and then transfer it over to the right side. It wasn't that difficult but for sure inconvenient and frustrating considering we paid for the service. The waitress saw me trying to fix it, and did nothing about it. The drinks were subpar. My espresso martini somehow tasted like citrus. Overall, for an expensive and "high-end" place like this, I expected a higher-quality service and more professionalism. We still had a fun time as we always make the most out of poor situations, but I would not recommended this place to anyone.” — Taylor, rated 1 out of 5 on Google (2 months ago)
“Service was great. Megan helped fix the blue screen situation and always made sure our drinks were full. The sim software is the best around imo. Some mats showing wear, but overall a great environment to swing clubs and chill.” — Justin Chen, rated 5 out of 5 on Google (2 months ago)
“Staff was nice but the Simulators needs some work. They have different colored balls and no where near enough. Each sim I am guessing needs about 30-40 more balls. Could be a great place they really need to invest is balls even cheap balls would do but stick with the white so the sim can pick it up. Also brighter lights on where the ball is” — Ronnie Vitulli, rated 2 out of 5 on Google (5 months ago)
“The Perfect Ground offers a premium simulation experience for golf enthusiasts, akin to securing a tee time at a traditional course. Reservations are required, ensuring an organized flow of visitors. For those without their own clubs, a rental set is available for a nominal fee of $15. The staff is well-trained and attentive, guiding guests to their designated simulator bays where they input each player's details and provide a thorough orientation on operating the technology. The simulators are equipped with advanced sensors and high-definition cameras that accurately track metrics such as driving distance, swing speed, and other critical performance indicators. The rear cameras even capture video footage of swings, allowing for in-depth analysis and improvement post-session. After a few practice swings, players can select from a variety of virtual courses to play an 18-hole round. The beverage selection is extensive, complementing the inviting ambiance of the facility. Pricing is tiered, with weekend bay rentals at $55 per hour, while weekday play offers a more cost-effective rate of $30 per hour. However, it's worth noting that on-site food service is unavailable; guests can order from a selection of nearby restaurants, with delivery directly to the simulator bays--a convenience enhanced by the availability of menus for each option. The simulators themselves provide a remarkably authentic golfing experience, making them an appealing alternative during the sweltering Houston summers. Whether you're a seasoned golfer or exploring an alternative leisure activity, The Perfect Ground is well worth a visit.” — British Collins, rated 4 out of 5 on Google (a year ago)
