“It's been several years since we ate at the restaurant here. I've had decent meals & some positive experiences at newer, trendy places in recent months but it's getting harder and harder to have that dining experience where it made your night - maybe even your weekend. Our visit this Sunday evening was one of those occasions. The view on the outdoor patio was beautiful, the weather was perfect. All we needed was some good drinks, excellent food & great service - and that's exactly what we got! I've lately resigned myself to exorbitant prices, downsized servings & bills over $100 if we splurge on 2 drinks and a shared appetizer. But this was dining like I remember: a smooth flow to the food arrival, being checked on at regular intervals and without rudely interrupting, generous portions of well-prepared food served hot, with visual appeal & balanced seasoning, and a reasonable bill for 2 meals with sides, a soup, an appetizer and 4 beers. Wow. Thank you to our server, Loraleigh (sorry if that is mis-spelled) for a memorable dining experience. “Great conditioned course. Many tee choices for any player level. Nice functional and perfectly placed snack and beverage hut between 9th and 10th. Appreciate the many clearly marked drop areas for penalty areas -marked with corresponding situation. Also appreciate the we'll maintained bunkers and cart paths. “This past weekend, we hosted my sister-in-laws bridal shower on the terrace, and the day could not have been more perfect. Susan at Golden Oaks was phenomenal to work with, timely with communication, and very detailed. The terrace was beautiful, overlooking the golf course, and the room was open and spacious. It was also very easy to set up a Tee time in advance for the groom and the dads to have some time together while the shower was underway. The wait staff was lovely, very attentive to our guests. Everything about the day was just lovely. Posting some pictures purely to show the space and how comfortably 23ish prone (and two high chairs) fit in the room.
