“Didn’t actually play but came to hit balls on the range. The grass range was large, plenty of space to spread out. Excellent deal, $16 for 100 balls and 2 cold beers!” — Douglas George, rated 5 out of 5 on Google (a month ago)
“Airport National Golf Course is one of the most unique and complete public golf facilities in Eastern Iowa. Located just minutes from Interstate 380 and the Cedar Rapids airport, it’s an easy stop whether you’re local, flying in or out of Cedar Rapids, or passing through the area. The facility offers 27 holes of golf, making it a great option for a quick round, a full day of golf, or something in between. The course itself is very fun, approachable, and walkable, but it still has plenty of challenge. The greens are smaller than many courses and can get quick, so accuracy matters more than people might expect. It’s a great place for beginners, families, juniors, and experienced golfers who want to sharpen their short game and scoring clubs. What really makes Airport National stand out is everything else they offer. The driving range is massive and one of the better practice setups in the area. They also have separate short-game areas, including a dedicated chipping green and a dedicated putting green, which gives golfers plenty of ways to work on their game before or after a round. On top of that, the facility has mini golf, a well-stocked pro shop, food and drinks, and a friendly staff that makes the experience easy and welcoming. It’s the kind of place where you can play 9 holes, hit range balls, practice your short game, or bring the family out for a fun golf day. Overall, Airport National is a must-visit public golf facility in the Cedar Rapids area and one of the best all-around golf destinations in Eastern Iowa. Highly recommend.” — Iowa Fairway Finder, rated 5 out of 5 on Google (a month ago)
“A nice private course right outside the city. As a beginner I found this course to be a lot of fun! I also had experienced golfers in my group who found it challenging. A perfect place to golf no matter your skill level. And bonus, the staff was awesome too!” — Abby Scheitlin, rated 5 out of 5 on Google (9 months ago)
“A 27 hole golf course. Fairly easy with 3 of the 9 holes being par 3s if you play the last 9 holes of the golf course. Club house has everything you need. Plenty of golf carts available.” — Craig Brophy, rated 5 out of 5 on Google (a year ago)
“Pretty decent golf course at a great price. The wind can be challenging because of the lack of tree cover. The course didn’t have any par 5s, but some of the par 3s on the hills were challenging enough. Will be back this season!” — Caleb Heiar, rated 4 out of 5 on Google (2 years ago)
