Lansing-area simulator golf: YMCA TrackMan reservations and nearby Okemos bays

The YMCA's simulator program distinguishes public hourly reservations from a members-only monthly add-on. X-Golf Lansing is a different operation on Marsh Road in nearby Okemos, not Lansing proper. Its checked page still displays summer pricing, so an October visit needs a fresh quote.

Official operator pages checked October 17, 2026. This is an editorial shortlist, not an inventory count or live availability. Confirm the YMCA branch in the TrackMan reservation. X-Golf's Lansing brand name does not establish a Lansing city address, and its summer rate is not verified autumn pricing.

Lansing westside — confirm the booked branch; Earvin “Magic” Johnson YMCA is at 3700 Old Lansing Road

The YMCA advertises TrackMan simulators available to nonmembers by reservation at $35 per hour for up to four people. Its FAQ separately lists $15 per additional person and recommends no more than four for pace of play; ask before adding a fifth. Booking is through the TrackMan app, front-desk check-in is required and everyone eighteen or older must bring valid ID. A separate $75-per-month simulator membership includes twelve hours monthly but requires maintaining a YMCA membership.

X-Golf — Lansing

Nearby Okemos — 4946 Marsh Road, outside Lansing proper

The location page lists six simulators, a private simulator, lessons, a full menu and bar. Each bay accommodates up to six people and charges by simulator time, not per person. The only fetched rate is $45 per simulator per hour labeled All Summer Long; it is not a confirmed October or winter quote. The hours are also explicitly described as summer hours, with longer cold-weather hours mentioned but not established.

Choosing indoor golf in Lansing

Quick answers drawn from what the 4 listings here record. We do not rank venues as cheapest or best; missing details are left unknown.

Pay by the hour or join a membership?

1 of 4 listings record an hourly price. A membership option does not mean hourly public play is unavailable, and an hourly price does not confirm public access — check each venue's terms.

Indoor golf in Lansing: FAQ

Can nonmembers reserve the Lansing YMCA golf simulators?

Yes. The simulator FAQ explicitly permits public reservations. The $35-per-hour drop-in booking for up to four people is separate from the members-only monthly simulator add-on.

Does the YMCA's $75 monthly golf plan include YMCA membership?

No. A current YMCA membership must be maintained to receive and continue that $75-per-month simulator plan. It includes twelve simulator hours each month and renews monthly.

What must adults bring to a YMCA simulator reservation?

Everyone eighteen and older must bring valid ID. Check in at the front desk, and bring clean clubs if using your own; the YMCA says golf balls are included.

What simulator booking hours does the YMCA publish?

The golf FAQ lists Monday–Friday, 7 AM–8 PM, and Saturday–Sunday, 7 AM–3 PM. These are simulator booking hours, not the branch's longer general facility hours.

Is X-Golf Lansing actually in Lansing?

Its official location details say 4946 Marsh Road in Okemos. Treat it as a nearby-area option, not a Lansing city listing.

Can I rely on X-Golf Lansing's $45 hourly price for October?

Not without confirmation. The page labels that $45-per-simulator hourly offer All Summer Long and also labels the displayed hours as summer hours. Ask for the selected autumn session's price and hours.
