“I received a fitting in April of ‘26 for my first time and had been recommended to go to Windmill golf as they were the best around. The hour plus drive was completely worth it. I’ve been using my new irons and wedges for a while now and couldn’t be happier. Misses are better, strikes are more crisp, and I’ve put up some of the best numbers of my life. The staff was fantastic and did a great job not pressuring me into purchases and recommended I stick with some of my clubs that I was hitting well and fit me. “(Edit: changed review from 2 to 3 stars after seeing the owner’s response. I write a lot of Google reviews because I personally find reviews valuable in figuring out where to go. If I do get an owner’s response to a negative review, it is usually gaslighting, excuse making, etc. This owner’s response was fantastic and much appreciated.) Very under-impressed. By reputation I thought this was a premier practice facility. They must only be premier at club fitting. The grass range was extremely sparse and patchy. The chip and putt course greens were similar to fairway in length and very uneven. The holes haven’t been changed in a long time and there is grass growing down toward the cup around the edges. “We really enjoy as a family going to the short par 3 course. It’s actually great practice for even serious golfers and perfect for beginners. Theres something to enjoy for all. “I would recommend Windmill Golf Center to anyone looking to get a fitting, or just shop around in general. As fairly new to golf, Trent was a tremendous help for me, as he was incredibly knowledgeable in the differences in the all the right clubs, explaining the different metrics we are looking at, and finding the clubs (and adjustments) that fit my swing best. The fitting was an awesome experience overall and I will absolutely be coming back the next time I’m looking to upgrade.
