“The staff here is awesome. This is my first time playing and everyone is incredibly helpful. Sean with First Tee even helped me find my phone after it got dark, they’re a great team!” — Morgan Marant, rated 5 out of 5 on Google (3 weeks ago)

“Haven’t played the course yet. However just got done a hour lesson with Kyle Spaulding and if I could rate the lesson 10 stars, I would. Kyle was super knowledgeable and took the time to see where I was at with my game, and what it was I was looking to work on. He was able to articulate his advice very well, which helped me absorb the pointers he was giving me. Would definitely recommend a lesson with Kyle to anyone looking and will definitely be back!” — Andrew DiGuiseppe, rated 5 out of 5 on Google (3 months ago)

“Been playing Walnut Lane the past 10 year and has always remained one of my favorites in the Philly area. If you are going in expecting a country club level course, this place isn't for you. If you are looking for a cheaper, accessible, and laidback course Walnut Lane is perfect. Greens and fairways are always in good condition, tee boxes could use some work but its whatever, again not a country club. Great bang for your buck for some casual golf.” — Nick, rated 5 out of 5 on Google (3 months ago)

“To clarify, my 3 stars are not intended to knock this course down. There are absolutely good things about it. Rates are fair for what you're getting. I appreciate that there are accessible and affordable courses like this where newer players won't feel intimidated to come out and play. It's a course in the city with no par 5s. Some chainlink fences will wrap around the playing area. Some of the tee boxes and fairways were in dire shape. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the greens! It appears they're putting a lot of care into them. I'm optimistic that they'll continue to make improvements for the better! Go give em a shot.” — Chris, rated 3 out of 5 on Google (10 months ago)

“After more than 15 years away from Walnut Lane Golf Club, I was pleasantly surprised by the improvements. I had attempted to play late last year but decided against waiting due to frost. Finally getting back out on the course, I noticed several positive changes. While the parking lot remains the same, the pro shop building is completely new. The addition of a small but inviting restaurant and bar adds to the experience, and the pro shop offers a solid selection of gear. There are also dedicated spaces for training facilities or meetings, which is a nice touch. The golf carts are well maintained, making for a smooth ride around the course. As for the course itself, the improvements are noticeable. The fairways are in good shape, and the small greens provide a fun yet challenging test. There were a few patches under repair, but overall, Walnut Lane remains a solid public course. I’m looking forward to returning for another round soon.” — Noel Abejo, rated 4 out of 5 on Google (a year ago)
