“Response to owner: Not the wrong course, paid $152 for 2 people this past sunday, course is not well maintained and is not worth the price. Valleaire in Hinckley, Ohio is not well managed and had 3 groups of 4 on hole 2 at 8am. Worst experience i have ever had playing golf, 8am tee time and the course was backed up already. 3 groups on every hole, waiting 5-10min at every tee box. A starter told us to speed it up when were didnt tee off the second the group in front of us left the green. We explained that the course has been backed up all day he said "I didnt ask for a dissertation." Extremely disrespectful comment to make. For $75, this course is a beat up dog track and I will NEVER be back.” — John Hartman, rated 1 out of 5 on Google (4 weeks ago)

“DO NOT PLAY HERE!!!! Tee time was at 11:52 and it looked online that there were many open tee times so pace of play shouldn’t be a problem. We arrive to the course 15 minutes early and check in, starter was rushing us to get out 10 minutes early and we couldn’t even get a couple putts in since the starter was rushing us to get out at 11:45. We get done with 3 holes in an hour. Lots of old people golfing. Got through 12 holes in 5 hours and finally had enough. Pace of play is terrible. Same thing happened last year when I played and thought maybe I’ll give valleaire another shot, turns out this place is a dump and you’ll spend 8 hours to finish 18 holes. People in front of us didn’t let us play through when it’s just me and my buddy who are both single digit handicaps and play fast. The foursomes in front of us were really rude, and couldn’t even hit their tee shot past the women’s tees and didn’t wanna let us play through. If I could only play this course for the rest of my life, I would quit golf. NEVER COMING BACK, IF YOU ARE THINKING ABOUT PLAYING, DO NOT COME” — vincent yu, rated 1 out of 5 on Google (a month ago)

“Could’ve been a better experience. Called to schedule a tee time and the person over the phone acted like it was a task to let me and my friend come out. We get to the course, they have my name in completely wrong which created unnecessary waiting times. We look for the starter for about 10 minutes because he’s sitting in a cart and not making any effort to announce his presence at all. And then when I say to my friend “yeah I’m trying to find the starter” the starter finally says something and makes it off like we were supposed to magically know that he was there sitting in a cart. Probably would’ve helped if he was at a starter station or something. We talk to the starter and he says he can’t find my name, we wait around even longer while the starter talks to several other people working there. Turns out we were there in the system the whole time and somehow they all just managed to gloss over my name, so that was cool. The carts were cool and they told you how far away you were from the pin and stuff, but if you drove even a centimeter off of the cart path into the rough, the thing started beeping like crazy, very annoying and repetitive. Like you couldn’t even drive into the unkept roughs to look for your ball, whereas at any other course it isn’t an issue; not sure why it was here lmao. It just genuinely felt like I was just being watched the entire time. But apart from that, the course was nice and well kept, but with how bad of an experience I had with the management, I most likely won’t be coming back. Pricing wasn’t horrendous by any means, but for $32 for 9 holes with a cart, I could go to a lot of other courses and pay $5 or $6 less, and with better management at that as well” — PatchSlaw7, rated 1 out of 5 on Google (a month ago)

“Front 9 went well aside from standard course being over booked and tee-times not being spread out enough. Making the turn we had to wait due to two groups of 4 being on 10th hole along with another group waiting in front of us. We grabbed food and refreshments (as encouraged on the turn by every course) and the new starter proceeded to complain about how we are holding up pace of play buy getting food then told us to tee off while the group ahead of us was maybe 170 yards out, we followed his instructions and almost hit the group in front of us despite not even hitting drivers. Place 100% over books tee-times and that starter should never have a job on a golf course again. Would never recommend this course to a pro or a complete beginner.” — Chris Meyer, rated 1 out of 5 on Google (2 months ago)

“There was a break in the weather and the course was open. They did a great job of getting the greens on order. Once the leaves fill in, this course will be beautiful and in need of some more aerial photos. Can’t wait.” — Joseph Powell, rated 5 out of 5 on Google (2 years ago)
