“I live really close so want to like Tour a lot more, but sadly every time I’ve gone I’ve left disappointed. The main issue is the golf simulators, which are the main draw. The rental clubs are horrible quality, like dented and broken and 50 years old. The simulator is not the highest quality, and doesn’t track the ball well. Compared to other simulators like a Trackman, these systems are pretty basic and inconsistent. For $65/hr, id expect trackman or similar quality. Every time I’ve rented a sim, I’ve cut my time short and just opted to drink at the bar or go somewhere else. The food is usually good and they have a lot of beer selections. However, the kegs are regularly kicked and not replaced, so don’t expect to get your first or second choice. Lastly, the service, while very friendly, seems very understaffed. We went here for a Patriots playoff game, and very few TVs had the game on. The staff didn’t have the availability to change the TVs because they were so busy. Similarly, they didn’t have availability to change kegs or regularly check in on tables. The atmosphere and food are great and hopefully the service and simulators improve. Would love to make this my go-to spot for watching the game or bringing friends for a fun simulator and drinks type of night. Unfortunately at the moment, there are better golf simulator options and better sports bars.” — Dylan Thomason, rated 2 out of 5 on Google (a month ago)

“Tour Golf and Grill in Portsmouth, NH offers an exceptional blend of dining and entertainment that I thoroughly enjoyed on my recent visit. The ambiance is inviting and modern, making it a perfect spot whether you're geared up for a casual meal or a fun night out with friends. The highlight for me was the state-of-the-art golf simulators, which provide a unique and engaging experience regardless of your golf skill level—perfect for a fun, interactive time. The menu exceeded my expectations with a wonderful variety of dishes made from scratch that combined creativity with comfort food vibes. I especially loved the pretzel bites paired with their delicious dipping sauces and the perfectly cooked chicken marsala skewers. The staff were attentive and friendly, making sure every aspect of our visit was enjoyable from start to finish. The bar has a great selection of drinks, including inventive cocktails that perfectly complement the food. I appreciated the clean, spacious interior with plenty of TVs, which is ideal for watching sports. Parking was convenient, and the overall vibe was relaxed yet lively. I’d highly recommend Tour Golf and Grill for anyone looking for great food, quality drinks, and a one-of-a-kind golf experience in Portsmouth. I will definitely be returning!” — Taig Healy, rated 5 out of 5 on Google (8 months ago)

“I've always enjoyed Tour located just south of downtown Portsmouth. Plenty of parking with a great bar, good food and a pleasant and respectful atmosphere and staff. I ove the fact that if you want to go in on a rainy day or snow day (or any day) and bring your clubs you can play a round of simulated golf, have a few drinks and lunch and be on your way. Or just come in for the games on the Big Screens and sit at the bar and enjoy the company and food. The Golf and Grill tag they are using now I think better identifies what they are and the menu has changed up as well and now serves (IMO) a more casual menu compared to the original menu (which was excellent by the way) that was more of a fine dining menu (again IMO). A recent favorite for me is the Pan Fried Potstickers or the Giant Wings. It's certainly worth a visit.” — Debbie Mae Kershaw, rated 5 out of 5 on Google (a year ago)

“Tour still continues to impress us. The restaurant is beautifully decorated with sports constantly on the televisions above the bar. Tour is a golf-themed restaurant but we felt as if they catered to each guest as one of the family. The menu has a good selection of appetizers and entrees which caught our eye. We shared the pretzel bites with a mouth-watering cheese sauce. Our entrees were also equally delicious. From our table, we enjoyed the view of the open kitchen but missed the added personal touch of televisions at each table. I would recommend Tour to any of my friends or family. We'll be back soon to try more of the menu and test the golf simulators.” — Erica C, rated 4 out of 5 on Google (2 years ago)

“Such an awesome night out at Tour! We did an hour on the simulator and really enjoyed just hitting at the driving range, and eventually switched over to some games. A little bit of a learning curve, but would definitely come back just to play gold! All of that aside, the food and drinks are amazing. I have been here for a cocktail before, but finally had some appetizers and more drinks, and they were all fabulous. Make sure you to make your reservation on Sunday’s for the simulators, and enjoy your time!” — Brianna B, rated 5 out of 5 on Google (3 years ago)
