“I am writing to file a formal complaint regarding my recent experience at The Clubhouse Westport in Westport, CT. During my visit 04.04.2026 I ordered a Caesar salad and found a hair in my food. This raises serious concerns about the restaurant’s food handling and sanitation practices. In addition, the overall quality of the food was very poor and did not meet basic expectations. What was especially disappointing was the lack of appropriate response from staff and management. the chef did not came out to apologize or properly address the issue. Instead, we were sent chocolate cookies, which did not resolve the concern or reflect the seriousness of the situation. “Jose and Martiana are wonderful wait staff . The food we had was outstanding the Cajun shrimp in a consumee of goodness a sensuous delight I recommend a soak of the bread with a bite of shrimp you'll be delighted. The drinks were perfect. The bartender has the bloody Mary and mule perfect. Doesn't hurt that I was given an extra. The food remarkable the gumbo authentic the smash burger satisfying. The fries well c'mon a shoestring dipped in gumbo delicious.
