Google rating

Rated 4.0 out of 5 on Google (95 ratings).

“Fitness center was always clean and never a wait for what you wanted to use. Heavy duty squat rack, bench, brand new machines, and even a punching bag! The saunas were great post-workout. The locker rooms are immaculate and every staff member is cheerful and never delayed in offering assistance. Being a member of TCR felt like being a member of Riverdale. I would run into fellow members + staff in my apartment building, grocery stores, or even simply walking up Johnson Ave. My wife and I no longer live in the area and leaving TCR was one of the hardest goodbyes” — Joseph DiOrio, rated 5 out of 5 on Google (4 months ago)

“This club did not meet my expectations whatsoever. I was brought as a guest and the facility is not maintained well. When i went to get my belongings from the lockers there was a bug in there. I have heard from others that they’ve also seen bugs in their food from the cafe. I just don’t see how members are paying insane prices for the service that they get. If I am paying a certain amount, I expect the facility to be kept clean and for service to be extraordinary. I will say that the employee with glasses at the front desk is very kind and makes sure the needs of the members are always met. Any concerns or questions members may have he’s there to make sure they are receiving the service they deserve. However, I don’t recommend anyone to sign up for this club. You simply won’t receive what you pay for.” — Bella Swan, rated 1 out of 5 on Google (6 months ago)

“TCR has a great facility and community. From the classes to the trainers and staff, I’ve had only good experiences. A big shout out to Mark, JP, and Ellie at the gym. These guys are excellent trainers and demonstrate that they really care about their clients.” — Di Edwards, rated 5 out of 5 on Google (7 months ago)

“I have been a member here for 12 years and it has become part of my daily ritual. I train with Naomi regularly; with my home exercise program and her routine, my strength and agility have increased significantly. The cafe, run efficiently by Michele,is excellent with good food and service - serving breakfast, lunch and dinner with healthy options and always a smile. There is an Olympic sized pool with classes for all ages under Christiana’s skilled direction and children’s and adults’ classes in basketball and tennis. Even pickelball is featured! Take a tour! Enjoy!” — Meg Krilov, rated 5 out of 5 on Google (a year ago)

“The Tennis Club of Riverdale in the Bronx is truly a hidden gem! This quaint facility boasts a lovely gym, refreshing pool, and soothing sauna and hammam—all perfect for relaxation and fitness. Convenient hours make it easy to fit into any schedule, and the respectful members create a welcoming atmosphere. The staff and management are incredibly helpful, always addressing member concerns promptly. Whether you're a tennis enthusiast or just looking for a great place to unwind, TCR is a fantastic choice!” — Sergei Nerubenko, rated 5 out of 5 on Google (a year ago)
