“I booked this course because of the beautiful eastern shore view pictures posted on their website/IG. I was pretty disappointed to find that only one hole (#18) is actually along the water with a picturesque view. While the course was well-maintained and the pace of play was good, I wouldn’t have driven 2 hours away from home and paid double the price for the same views I couldn’t gotten playing my local course. The beverage cart girl was super nice. I hope they get her Apple Pay or a card machine soon. I don’t love having my credit card # written down on paper. Overall, fine course + nice staff. Nothing special, though.” — MJ B., rated 4 out of 5 on Google (a month ago)
“If anyone rates this course in the last month or so and that rating is above a 2, they are in cahoots with the course. I play about 70 rounds a golf every year and I play at least 20 different courses every year. I haven’t played a course in this bad of shape in the last 15 years. Over 50% of the fairways are DEAD. The tee boxes are similarly dead. The greens were top dressed with sand and very inconsistent from hole to hole. My company paid for us to play, but I wouldn’t have paid $20 to play this course. If you are staying at the Hyatt and want to golf, go find a different course to play. You’ll thank me if you do.” — Bryan OToole, rated 1 out of 5 on Google (a month ago)
“Nice course, with a decent layout. Great views on the course. Typically greens roll well, but last time I played was a few weeks after aeration. Seems a little late in the year for it (played mid-Dec). Winter rates are cheaper and make it a decent time to play, especiallyif you can get a random warm day. I hadn't played here in a couple of years, they are building a TON of houses all over the course.” — Chris Dingus, rated 4 out of 5 on Google (6 months ago)
“Course is a really fun layout and scenic. However there are some maintenance issues. It hadn’t rained in multiple days yet the bunker on 17(among many others on the course), one of the premier holes on the course was a lake. Many tee boxes were also over run with weeds. This course could be incredible if the weeds across the whole of the course and drainage could be handled.” — Richie Mauck, rated 3 out of 5 on Google (11 months ago)
“Really enjoyed the course. Lots of interesting holes. The course was difficult but fair and I should have listened to the staff member who said it's much better to be long on 17 and to hit one more club than you think you need. Staff was very customer service forward. My only quibble was the lack of poker chips but I was told that would be remedied. Definitely recommend.” — John Puskar, rated 5 out of 5 on Google (5 years ago)
