“I've only ordered a couple times to have something shipped, but I've ordered from probably a dozen other places the last 3 months and I have to say that their lead time is superb compared to everybody else. I'm referring specifically to the time between the order being confirmed and the product in the hands of the carrier. I ordered from another business recently and it literally took almost a week before it got to the carrier to be shipped. “I reached out to Play! Hoboken because I was genuinely interested in joining their D&D and board game sessions. I wasn’t just looking to show up—I offered to bring additional systems and materials I already own, the same way I proposed contributing to their board game lineup. I even tried contacting one of the organizers directly on Meetup. Still nothing. No reply, no acknowledgment, no basic courtesy. If you’re trying to build any kind of community, ignoring people who are actively offering value is a pretty poor way to go about it. It comes across as disorganized at best, or just closed off and uninterested in welcoming new people. If you’re expecting an inclusive, responsive environment—don’t.
