“I've only ordered a couple times to have something shipped, but I've ordered from probably a dozen other places the last 3 months and I have to say that their lead time is superb compared to everybody else. I'm referring specifically to the time between the order being confirmed and the product in the hands of the carrier. I ordered from another business recently and it literally took almost a week before it got to the carrier to be shipped. It's also very fairly priced, so if you buy cards online, give these guys a chance.” — Cosmic Crunch, rated 5 out of 5 on Google (a month ago)

“staff is nice and the board game selection isn’t bad either. the place could use some character though- not sure what’s missing. may not be a date spot but if you’re with a group of friends, then it can be fun.” — ssv, rated 4 out of 5 on Google (a month ago)

“Writing this as someone who ordered online from these guys. Very impressed! Order a couple of cases and they included promo cards from the set. Not very many LGS will do this. I'll definitely be ordering again!” — Brandon Hart, rated 5 out of 5 on Google (a month ago)

“I reached out to Play! Hoboken because I was genuinely interested in joining their D&D and board game sessions. I wasn’t just looking to show up—I offered to bring additional systems and materials I already own, the same way I proposed contributing to their board game lineup. I even tried contacting one of the organizers directly on Meetup. Still nothing. No reply, no acknowledgment, no basic courtesy. If you’re trying to build any kind of community, ignoring people who are actively offering value is a pretty poor way to go about it. It comes across as disorganized at best, or just closed off and uninterested in welcoming new people. If you’re expecting an inclusive, responsive environment—don’t. There are plenty of other groups out there that actually engage with new people instead of ignoring them.” — Fulvio Oggiano, rated 1 out of 5 on Google (2 months ago)

“We had such a great experience here. Minh was extremely nice to us and helped us in the most caring way. I came with individuals on the autism spectrum, and she was incredibly patient, respectful, and understanding. It made all the difference. The space itself was fun and welcoming, but it was the kindness and support that really stood out. Thank you for making us feel so comfortable we’ll definitely be back!” — Avi Hartman, rated 5 out of 5 on Google (11 months ago)
