“I started golf a few years ago with an assortment of random, hand me down clubs. After seeing some friends improve their scores after getting professionally fitted, I decided it was time. Making an appointment with Don was the best decision. He recommended clubs that are perfect for me and explained why. Then he spent a considerable amount of time correcting my grip and showing me proper technique. He is a patient instructor, using examples and analogies to help me understand key concepts. Then he sent me a report with detailed instructions and drills to practice. I am hitting straighter, higher, and farther already with my old clubs. I can’t wait until my new clubs are ready in a couple of weeks!” — Elaine Jeremy, rated 5 out of 5 on Google (2 weeks ago)

“Don is truly one of a kind! My fiancée took her first golf lesson with him and his easy going yet professional nature made it a fantastic experience. He is deeply knowledgeable and a fantastic coach who I would recommend to anyone looking for lessons in North San Diego County. He treated us like family rather than someone just looking to make money.” — Jordan Olesen, rated 5 out of 5 on Google (6 months ago)

“Don helped me figure out what is wrong with my basic swing and has put me on a path to work through it. An amazing studio with incredible tech, kind (but firm) analysis and direction, with NO sales pressure. All at 1/3rd of going rates. Go meet Don. You will not be disappointed.” — Scott Lacy, rated 5 out of 5 on Google (6 months ago)

“I started playing golf 3 months ago, and I genuinely wish I had called Don to schedule a lesson on day 1! But when I did call to schedule the lesson, he made it very easy to get seen the next day. Don made everything easy to understand and completely judgment-free. He was also incredibly knowledgeable - All he needed was to see my swing 5 times before he had me do some drills that highlighted the bad habits I picked up from learning golf on my own, and then how to fix them. Golf is extremely difficult...but if you want to learn from someone who knows their stuff, has a great mentality around playing, and is going to give you all the tools to improve your game - I could not recommend PFG Clubs more.” — Timmy Kang, rated 5 out of 5 on Google (6 months ago)

“Had an incredible club fitting experience with Don! He was extremely knowledgeable, patient, and made the entire process enjoyable from start to finish. Don took the time to understand my swing, walk me through the data, and explain how different setups would affect my performance. I never felt rushed, and he genuinely cared about helping me find the right fit—not just pushing the latest gear. By the end of the session, I left with full confidence in my setup and noticed immediate improvements in distance, accuracy, and consistency. If you’re serious about improving your game, I can’t recommend Don enough. A true professional who knows his stuff and makes you feel like you’re in good hands.” — Chad Cowan, rated 5 out of 5 on Google (11 months ago)
