“Super helpful staff! Came by with my putter and needed a quick regrip. Picked a grip out and had the putter back in no time. Will always come back to this store.” — jeremy chastain, rated 5 out of 5 on Google (a month ago)

“Went in store yesterday happened to be in area. Need a club to fit a gap i have in yardage. Trying to decide between hybrid or a wood. I know the exact yardage range i need just needed to hit a few balls to see which club i hit that distance. I was taken to the back screen and it was set up for me. I hit approx 10 balls with each club. When the store rep asked me which one i had picked i responded i dunno im thinking on it still. Mean time my 11 year old son had found a club in the $20 club barrel and told me he wanted to buy it with his own money cause he had outgrown his. He asked the man “sir i want to buy this club can i hit a ball or 2 with it? The response was “at this point there is a charge to hit anymore balls”. It was approximately 4:30pm (close 5:30) and i do not believe there was any more customers besides us at that point. If there was it was maybe one more and they were not in the club section. We left and i called and spoke with alan the rep i had bought a brand new set of mizuno irons from fairly recently. I also sent my nephew there and he bought a set of ping irons. I also have sent many more there to shop. Alan basically said it was not a great thing. I said is that how you should treat a return customer and he responded probably not. He said if you want to come back in i will try to take care of you. I will never shop anywhere that is rude to any child not to mention my own. That was great for the game of golf to be rude to a child excited about a golf club. We were about to leave anyway and was probably about to buy a 3 hybrid for $200 and a $20 7 iron for my son. I can not imagine how somebody new would be treated if thats how we are treated after spending thousands and sending them customers. I cant wait to see how they try to spin this cause what i have written is fact and there is 0 excuse for it. It is bad business and it is horrible to treat a child that way. I will never be back. I do not want anything from them. I have 0 agenda. If you still want to shop here i would leave your kids at home.” — Sgtpokeman23, rated 1 out of 5 on Google (2 months ago)

“I had a fitting with Jonathan to get my first set of clubs and he was very helpful and informative. He didn't rush me at all but guided me towards some great clubs that are perfect for me! I bought several other items to get myself set up, one of which was a push cart. I ended up having an issue with how my bag fit in the cart, so I brought it in and explained my situation to Cliff. He was patient and understanding and went above and beyond to help me resolve the issue. It's no wonder why this local business has been around for decades.” — Angela McClure, rated 5 out of 5 on Google (5 months ago)

“I had a fantastic club fitting experience at **Nevada Bob’s in Asheville**, and Matt deserves a huge shout-out. He genuinely cared about **my game**, not about selling me clubs or emptying my wallet—and that really stood out. Matt took the time to evaluate my swing and current equipment with no pressure whatsoever. In fact, we discovered that my **10-year-old clubs actually performed better** for me than a set of **Mizuno 921 Hot Metal irons** I was sold just two years ago by another golf shop. That level of honesty is rare and incredibly appreciated. Instead of pushing new gear, Matt focused on what truly works for me and how I can play better golf. I left with valuable insight, confidence in my equipment, and trust in the people at Nevada Bob’s. **Thank you again, Nevada Bob’s Asheville. You’ve earned a new loyal customer.**” — Walter Wollny, rated 5 out of 5 on Google (6 months ago)

“I had a great experience at Nevada Bob’s in Asheville. I went in for a club fitting and worked with Alan—he was super friendly and knowledgeable, making the whole process easy and enjoyable. They have a great selection of clubs, both new and used, and their prices were fair. I ended up going with a set of used clubs, and they even waived the fitting fee since I bought from them. Highly recommend checking them out if you’re in the market for new gear or just want a quality fitting experience.” — Adam Burleson, rated 5 out of 5 on Google (a year ago)
