“Great indoor golf facility. Has it all. Golf simulators, driving range, putting green and chipping. I actually started going here last year to help with my game. Took lessons and paid off. Christopher got me from 100s to low 90s. I only started playing 3 years ago, and being a senior I didn’t think I would play so well. “The happy hour pass cannot be beat. I was looking for an indoor facility to practice during chilly weather. For a small fee ($20 at the time of this review) I had access to the golf simulator bays, driving range and putt/chip area for 4 hours. The equipment is top shelf (Full Swing launch monitors and the gold standard of simulator software GS Pro) with tour level balls available if you don’t want to use your own. “An Unforgettable Golf Experience! Mashie Golf Institute is everything you could want in a golf lesson—and more! As a father-and-son small business, Rob and Chris bring such warmth and expertise to their teaching that it feels like learning from family. My son took a 3-day lesson with Chris (the son), and he absolutely loved it. In fact, he was so inspired after each session that he kept practicing for hours and didn’t want to leave! (I had to ask: Isn’t 4-5 hours of golf enough? Apparently not when you’re having this much fun!) What really stood out was the personal touch. On the first day, Rob (the dad) even played a 9-hole course with my son after the lesson. Chris joined him for rounds the next two days, reinforcing what he’d learned while making it feel like a game, not just instruction. Their kindness and deep knowledge of golf made the experience truly special. By the end, my son saw real improvement in his game—and he loved it so much that he bought a Mashie Golf Institute T-shirt to remember the trip. “Come here first! I played golf around Myrtle Beach all week at premier courses and finally made time to come to Mashie Golf. Chris was amazing and taught me so much.
