“Beautiful facility and pickleball courts. Professional grade surfaces that matches top tier tennis courts. Sturdy permanent nets that maintain tension for consistency. There were some growing pains in terms of programming, balancing between drop in and paid sessions, and enforcement of rated sessions. But the club seems intent on improving things and has taken a feedback oriented approach to gathering suggestions from their club members. Which is awesome! I'm optimistic that the volunteer committees that have been set up will help guide this place into the best indoor pickleball club in western PA. Also the food at the restaurant is excellent. The hours have been changing to try to fit club activity, but the food quality is somewhere around Chick-fil-a and Texas Roadhouse level, while still being reasonably priced. “I attended the drop in play on Jan 31 with three other friends to play Pickelball. When we arrived all the courts were being used or reserved except for one that is supposed to be for players of a 4.5-5.0 skill level. As no one was using this court or waiting to use this or any other court we figured there was no harm in us playing a game there. An older gentleman on the court next to us claimed he reserved that court (he didn't as their is a large TV hanging above the court stating it is for drop in play) we said he didn't and he claimed our skill level isn't high enough for that court which is true but no one was waiting in line to play so we told him to mind his business. He told on us to the camp leader working there who chased us off the court that then sat unused for the next 20 minutes as we waited in line for a court to open of our skill level. We stated that we would leave if someone of that skill level wanted to play but that did not matter. When this place opened it was very loosely organized drop in play which is the point of drop in play - people getting exercise and playing as much as they can in a time period. Ladder tournaments and leagues should absolutely have stricter guidelines to keep games competitive. My advice to management is pick a lane. Have the drop in time be a place for everyone to play and get better or eliminate the drop in time, significantly increase your prices to make this place a country club type atmosphere and have interviews for new members. Chasing off 4 paying customers to keep 1 whiny 3.5 level player who undoubtably complained enough about his DUPR rating to get someone to increase his rating does not seem like a good way to survive your first summer when the outdoor courts are free.” — Jimmy Sams, rated 1 out of 5 on Google (5 months ago)

“LevelUp Pickleball Club is easily the nicest indoor pickleball club around. The courts have excellent cushioning, which makes a huge difference, no joint pain even after long, competitive sessions. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the competition level is perfect for players who want to improve while still having fun. Brenden Dollard, the club pro, is hands down one of the best pickleball instructors around, knowledgeable, approachable, and great at helping players elevate their game. What really sets LevelUp apart is how responsive they are to member feedback. They’re constantly making improvements to make the experience even better. “Impressive facility but they’re definitely still working out their quirks. It says to reserve courts online, but you can’t, it just is trying to get you to sign up for a membership. We called to reserve a court and were able to. A bit surprising when we told them it was our first time no one showed us around or explained anything. They have a golf simulator, but no one explained if that was included in our day pass or not and no one was at the front desk to ask. We were the only people there in the entire facility. As soon as drop-in play (non-member) hours started the facility filled up, so I guess majority of people aren’t members. We called five separate times today at different hours to reserve a court for tomorrow and no one answered the phone. The food at the restaurant was surprisingly good.
