“GOLFTEC was a great option for me to establish a starting point for my golf game. Previously, I had tried golf lessons and left feeling like I didn’t have a roadmap to improve. This was not the case with the GOLFTEC process. At GOLFTEC they use some pretty amazing technology to analyze your swing in slow motion from multiple angles. The camera also can track movement at each major body joint. They look at the footage as you are hitting and can switch on different layers to see body rotation and the alignment of various body parts. They offer real-time feedback for improvement and roll It into a lesson to work at home with support from their app. This style of focused, data driven analysis really made it clear how to improve. The video of the swings makes the swing adjustment process more intuitive. Finally, I really enjoyed working on my golf game with instructor James Stitt. He really “met me where I am at” with my golf journey by taking my improvement seriously while also understanding golf is only one of many things that requires my focus right now. James was thorough in his instruction and overall great to work with!” — Brian Stevens, rated 5 out of 5 on Google (8 months ago)
“I’m a 7-handicap golfer, and I was struggling with my irons—desperate to fix my swing. Initially, I was very skeptical about GolfTec; it seemed a bit gimmicky and overpriced. However, I couldn’t have been more wrong. I purchased the Player’s Package (10 lessons, 18.5 hours of simulator time, and a club fitting) and had an excellent experience. My instructor, Andy, was extremely helpful. Instead of completely overhauling my swing, he focused on minor adjustments and tweaks, which made all the difference. The technology was good—it was great to see my swing from both back and front angles. Plus, having access to those visuals during my simulator sessions was a huge benefit. My only complaint is that sometimes the system wouldn’t work properly and required a restart, which cut into practice time. Overall, I would highly recommend GolfTec to anyone looking to improve their game. And if you're in Roseville, ask for Andy—he made my experience exceptional!” — Kyle Dupont, rated 5 out of 5 on Google (a year ago)
“Just finished a lesson pack with Andy Drummond and i am so glad I found this place / coach! My personal understanding of the golf swing and my game is infinitely better than it was previous to these lessons. I also just had a great time with Andy. Super easy to hang with and learn at the same time! Would recommend to anyone!” — zel johnston, rated 5 out of 5 on Google (2 years ago)
“GOLFTEC Roseville has been a great place to start to learn the game of golf. I started here never really playing before. But Josh Whalen has been awesome with his instruction. He is able to articulate corrections in multiple different ways. So I can best understand what I am doing wrong, plus different ways I can make improvements. It has rapidly changed my swing. The biggest value add compared to the range is the instant video feedback. Being able to see real time progress in your mechanics and feels after every swing takes the guess work out of what I am doing wrong and where I can improve. I am much more consistent in my ball striking and flight Plath plus I added some distance to all my clubs. I have also done a full club fitting. Josh was really accommodating to answering all my questions and took the time to find the right clubs for me. When ever I come into practice the entire team knows me by name. I Couldn’t recommend this place enough if you are wanting to start golf or take your game to the next step.” — Dawson Rademacher, rated 5 out of 5 on Google (3 years ago)
“I had received a golf swing evaluation package as a Christmas gift from my wife and started taking lessons in February 2014. I met Mickey Soderberg and he has been my golf instructor for the last year and a half. I have also had the chance to talk with the other instructors Brad and Michael. They both seem easy to talk with and I’m sure they do a great job as well. However, my experience is with Mickey and he is not only a great golf instructor he is also a great teacher. Before taking any lessons we defined goals and made a plan. What a great idea! Mickey is able to teach in ways that make remembering and understanding much easier than the golf lessons I have had in the past. When I am able to achieve the swing he is looking for, we review with MY understanding of the swing and how it feels different and also what to practice on the range. This really builds confidence in our plan and I know that by practicing on the range, this will lead to something greater than sore arms! It is because of the changes in my swing and the success on the course that I continue to take more lessons. Highlights of the lesson are posted to your personal Golftec account and can be downloaded so they can be reviewed whenever needed. This is very handy and it is amazing how much more you learn by watching the lesson again. It’s also nice to download the lesson on your phone so you can review anytime. Mickey also takes the time to write a few highlights about the lesson and will offer drills to practice moving forward. I have found that being able to watch your swing really helps me understand what the instructor is teaching. If you’re looking to improve your game, this is without a doubt the place to get started!” — Paul Claugherty, rated 5 out of 5 on Google (10 years ago)
