“Scott was condescending and was getting frustrated during my swing analysis. He did help me correct my posture a little but that’s where the good ends. Took the club out of my hand as I was about to swing my last ball. At least, give me a heads up. Then further talked down to me because I didn’t know the jargon, even though I had mentioned that I’m starting from zero. Finally, pushed me to close a sale for 12 month lessons which I’m obviously smart enough to say no to. And then used that archaic sales technique “what do you have to think about?” This lesson was a birthday gift from my wife which should’ve made me happy, but the experience left a sour taste. I’m the paying customer here so you better be kind, patient, and polite to me. The receipt showed the duration as 1:30-3. I arrived at 1:30 and first several minutes were registration etc. Scott took the club away from me by 2:30. I was pushed out of the door by 2:55 Anyway, I know what my recommendation will be if one of my colleagues wanted to join GolfTec. Definitely not worth $100. Find a different trainer!! GolfTec: please don’t post your regurgitated response to my review. I already saw a similar review about the trainer from a year ago. If you haven’t gotten this fixed yet, I don’t trust your promises.” — Ashutosh Sharma, rated 1 out of 5 on Google (3 months ago)

“COACH Adam is amazing, friendly.. he has taken me from shotting 100 to upper 80s. I cant thank him enough.” — Josh Williams, rated 5 out of 5 on Google (4 months ago)

“My lessons provided video that gave me instant feedback and my coach (Phil) zoomed in on the best opportunities for improvement. Reviewing my lessons via the website, helps to reinforce my learning and should help the changes stick.” — Joe Cronauer, rated 5 out of 5 on Google (4 months ago)

“I did a swing evaluation there and thought it was pretty cool. They have some awesome technology there that showed me a lot about what I was doing wrong. So for all of that, it was great and worth it. My only disappointment is the amount of balls I got to hit once the eval and pointers were given. Not sure how else I was supposed to see if I was doing it correctly other than hitting balls. I guess I need to, and I’m quoting the instructor here when I said golf is expensive to practice, “buy a simulator to practice.” I give 3 stars because my instructor, even from the initial confirmation phone call was a little condescending and arrogant with me. I’ll leave names out of it. I brushed off the phone call to me misreading it. But I was correct. That’s how he was. See golf simulator comment above for reference. He seemed knowledgeable but also felt like he talked down to me a little bit. It’s almost like he forgot I was a 100-dollar-paying customer.” — Ryan Dineen, rated 3 out of 5 on Google (a year ago)

“Had a fitting with Ian, who fit me in a little early as I’m from out of town. Had my club fitting and he graciously stayed late to give me a few drills to help with my swing. Went above and beyond. Extremely knowledgeable and you can tell he loves what he does. Dialed in irons, wedges and driver, adjusting length, swing weight, shafts and many club heads to find the right combos. I was hesitant to pull the trigger on a fitting but glad I did. If purchasing new clubs, it’s worth the investment. Go see Ian.” — Brian Lancaster, rated 5 out of 5 on Google (2 years ago)
