“We’ve had an amazing experience at GamePlex Tracy! This place is truly a hidden gem for cricket lovers and families alike. The cricket coaching and practice setup is outstanding. The advanced simulators provide a very realistic, match-like experience, which has helped my child improve tremendously in both batting and confidence. The fact that everything is indoors means training continues year-round without worrying about weather, which is a huge plus. What really makes GamePlex special is the environment. “I recently stopped by Gameplex on a Tuesday morning, and I’ll start by saying the place is extremely clean and well kept. Honestly, it was so spotless and quiet that it almost felt like not much goes on there—which I started to understand once I experienced the pricing. I was the only person there at the time, brought my own clubs, and only used the simulator. Despite that, I was charged $30 for 30 minutes. What really stood out to me wasn’t just the cost—it was how strict they were about the time limit. Even with no one else waiting and after I mentioned that I live about a mile away and was seriously considering a membership, there was no flexibility at all. No discounted rate, no extra few minutes—nothing. At essentially a dollar per minute, it’s hard to justify, especially for someone just trying to get in some solo practice. I can see how it might make more sense for groups, but with time limits in place, even that feels restrictive in terms of how much practice each person actually gets. It’s disappointing because the facility itself is great and the staff was friendly, but the pricing structure just doesn’t match the experience. I went in genuinely considering becoming a regular and possibly signing up for a membership, but after seeing the rates, it’s tough to justify—especially when the cost is comparable to joining a country club.
