“I just purchased my second set of irons from David and have been very happy with them. The entire experience was top shelf. David and his staff's knowledge and expertise as club builders definitely make this the best store in town if not the state! I will always support this local business!” — Taylor Schuster, rated 5 out of 5 on Google (2 months ago)
“Took a lesson with Mike Ramsden and, as a beginner, it felt transformative to the point where I almost couldn't believe it. Mike knows how to teach the absolute fundamentals in an extremely simple way and made me feel right at home the entire time. Most reviews are applauding the quality of the fittings, but the lessons provided at David Ayres are first rate and they will elevate your game no matter your level. Get your lessons here if you know what's good for you!” — Ross Jaeger, rated 5 out of 5 on Google (2 months ago)
“Went in yesterday to help with a professional golfers specs on a few putters. As someone who has worked with the top PGA Tour and LPGA manufacture reps for many years. Matt and his entire team were on par with any of the top club fitters in the world. I will be recommending them to every golfer in the CHS area. Thank you!” — C Stone, rated 5 out of 5 on Google (5 months ago)
“My amazing wife arranged for a holiday golf getaway in Charleston SC, so it was a great time to look for new gear. I'd been thinking about purchasing a driving iron, and needed a new gold cap. Having done research prior to traveling, I'd heard about David Ayers Low Country golf, and decided to stop in when we happened to pass it. What I found was a treasure of a store, with a great selection and knowledgeable staff. But I'd really like to point out Alan, the person who helped me. Alan did not start off trying to sell me. He started out by putting my wife and I at ease with his warm demeanor. Then, he asked all the right questions. Then, before pulling out a club for me to try he gave me super helpful tips (Alan is also a PGA Professional). If you're a serious golfer, it's worth a trip to Low county golf and if you're lucky, maybe Alan will be around to help. Ps, I bought a club and it was the happiest $$ I spent:)” — Dennis Stafford, rated 5 out of 5 on Google (6 months ago)
“The fellas at David Ayres Golf Shop are the best! I got a putting lesson while my son’s clubs were being re-gripped. It was a fantastic experience!” — Colin Johnson, rated 5 out of 5 on Google (a year ago)
