“Very Disappointing Experience The Field House constantly advertises itself as a facility “for the community,” but that has not been my experience at all. Nearly every time I visit, the indoor courts are reserved for private parties, events, or organized teams, leaving little to no space for the general public. If you’re coming here expecting to actually use the facilities you help support, think again. To make matters worse, pickleball players are often pushed outside into the Texas heat while perfectly good indoor court space is unavailable. On top of that, multiple courts are routinely occupied by volleyball practices, taking up a huge portion of the gym. It feels like the needs of everyday community members are an afterthought. If this facility wants to market itself as being “for the community,” it should make a genuine effort to provide reasonable access to the community instead of prioritizing private reservations and organized groups nearly all the time. The advertising and the reality do not match, and that’s extremely frustrating.” — Mercedez Pruett, rated 1 out of 5 on Google (a month ago)
“Had a birthday party reservation there. Paid a total of $550 which included 20% gratuity. Which came out to be $89. The host was nonexistent most of the time. We had to go find the manager or a staff member to get our unlimited soda and Gatorade refilled. I would have thought for as much money it cost to have a birthday reservation there, we would have a host just specifically for our party. But she was working other tables and was not very tentative to our party. At the end of the party, the manager asked how everything was. I told him all my opinions and complaints. And he apologized. I thought possibly he would give us a free day pass, or some kind of percentage off…..but he didn’t offer and I didn’t ask. And to top it off, when we were leaving the event, we walked by the manager and our party host, and they were talking nonsense about my complaints! My kids love that place. And it is reasonably priced and a good activity to take the kids to do on a regular day pass. But buying the birthday party package was a big bummer and I will never do it again. We had to clean up our own mess at the table, service was horrible by our host, and always had to ask for refills or anything that we needed that should have been supplied and kept up with by the party host.” — Bobbi Adkins, rated 3 out of 5 on Google (3 months ago)
“We hosted my son's 14th birthday there and the boys loved it. They had a basketball court rented for 2-3 hours for him and his friends only. Then afterwards they played open play football. They wore themselves out! A few of the girls played basketball as well and they had a good time. The hot wings were good! (Get the lemon pepper and buffalo mix!) The pasta was meh, which is why I gave the food rating 4 stars. Maybe I should have ordered something else to eat. Drinks were good. Overall, the place gets five stars from me! I would go again. Plus, it's great for kids who need to release ALL the energy!” — Chrystal Palmer, rated 5 out of 5 on Google (4 months ago)
“We had an amazing experience at a kids birthday party here! The indoor play space with multiple sports kept all the kids entertained and active the entire time. there was never a dull moment. Everything was clean, well-organized, and easy for parents to relax while the kids played. What really sets this place apart is that it’s just as great for adults. The bar and food were surprisingly good (not your typical “kids party” snacks), which made it enjoyable for everyone. It’s the perfect balance of fun for kids and comfort for parents.Highly recommend for birthday parties if you want a stress-free event where both kids and adult have a great time. #communityfieldhouse @communityfieldhouse #buzzybooth” — Baylea Collins, rated 5 out of 5 on Google (5 months ago)
“We had a great time at Field House The food was absolutely delicious — everything was fresh, flavorful, and served with care. Whether you’re into hearty meals or just want a tasty snack, they’ve got something for everyone. The car show was a real highlight — such an impressive collection of classic and custom cars! It was a perfect mix of good food and great atmosphere. Definitely worth visiting if you’re looking for a fun day out with family or friends.” — V H, rated 5 out of 5 on Google (a year ago)
