“I am leaving a post about a service, so I do not know anything about the rooms. Location and area is beautiful. However, I drove over an hour to try and meet up with my son's golf team to see him play the last few holes of golf for a tournament. This is his first year playing golf, and we are all excited about it. However, upon my arrival at the clubhouse I was told that there were no more spectator carts available. I can understand, but I am not the type of person who can easily navigate a golf course, plus I have never been here. I feel as though if I were cuter, had golf apparel on and looked like I had money, maybe my experience would have been different. I could have told the man all of that, but I don't know if it would have mattered. Also, my husband and I are thinking to take up golf ourselves in the near future and are learning along with our son. Overall, I am really disappointed with this experience and it saddens me to think that I was not able to spend this quality time with my son. I work so much and I even asked to get off early to spend time watching him play. I am a SPED teacher and I am always working! I guess next time I will try to call ahead or something. Every other course we played had no issues renting out a cart. Again, just a completely disappointing experience here. 😭” — Kersey Rodriguez, rated 3 out of 5 on Google (3 months ago)
“We had my son and daughter-in-law’s rehearsal dinner at Chimney Oaks back in September. The wedding was not at Chimney Oaks, but the parents of the bride and groom and a few others stayed at Chimney Oaks. Chimney Oaks is a beautiful venue. However, we had multiple communication problems and check in issues with the event coordinator. They need better procedures for checking guests in. There was no one on site to give room codes. We had to wait until someone offsite could send them to us and one of the guests eventually had to get ready for the wedding in someone else’s room. When I reached out to the coordinator, the day after the wedding, she was apologetic and I appreciated that. One of the owners reached out to me the next day and said he wanted to compensate us for all the problems we experienced. I also appreciated that. However, I never heard from him again. I have sent emails and left phone messages and he has never gotten back to me. I would never have another event at Chimney Oaks.” — Gina Hawkinson, rated 2 out of 5 on Google (6 months ago)
“So I have been hearing about this golf course for some time now, and finally had the pleasure of playing. We played in August and the course was in great shape. If you have a chance to drop in and play you will not be disappointed. The staff were professional and friendly. I will be back to play.” — Joel Fuller, rated 4 out of 5 on Google (9 months ago)
“I have a small group that has been going to Chimney Oaks for a stay and play for three years and it's always been a great time. The course is always in great shape and the cottages are nice. Had another trip this weekend in Augusta but had to evacuate because of Hurricane Helene and called Chimney. They took our group of 20 the day of and accommodated our golf and lodging on zero notice. Staff was great across the board and the group had a great time. Always highly recommend this place.” — Tyler Spears, rated 5 out of 5 on Google (a year ago)
