“I’ve played Chimera Golf Club well over a dozen times now, and it continues to impress every single round. This is easily one of the most consistently enjoyable golf experiences in the Las Vegas area. First off, the pace of play here is excellent. Whether it’s a busy day or not, rounds always move at a reasonable pace—honestly, often faster than expected compared to other local courses. That alone keeps me coming back. The staff deserves a ton of credit. From the pro shop to the starters, everyone is welcoming, professional, and genuinely friendly. It never feels like you’re just another tee time—they treat you like a regular even if it’s your first visit. The marshals are another standout. They’re not just there to enforce pace—they’re actually helpful, informative, and respectful. On multiple occasions, they’ve even come around passing out water, which is huge in the Vegas heat and shows they care about the player experience. The course itself is always in solid shape, and the layout is fun, playable, and rewarding without being overly punishing. Whether you’re trying to score or just enjoy a round, it fits the bill perfectly. Bottom line: Chimera is one of the best bang-for-your-buck golf courses in Las Vegas. “Chimera Golf Club is truly a five-star golf experience in Las Vegas. The course is in impeccable condition, especially compared to some other courses around town. The fairways, greens, and overall layout are beautifully maintained and honestly comparable to some of the best private courses in the area. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the food is absolutely outstanding. What really stands out is the value — both the golf and the food are priced far lower than you would expect for the level of quality you get. Everything about the experience feels first class. Having a best friend who lives on the course makes it even more enjoyable for me, but even without that connection, Chimera truly speaks for itself. I can’t say enough good things about this place — it’s absolutely wonderful. If you’re visiting Las Vegas and want a great golf experience, Chimera Golf Club should definitely be on your list. “This course is in good shape but keep an eye on these things. A number of holes you need to be teeing off left to have a good angle to the green, elevated greens so maybe take an extra club. “Great course. My wife and I played 18 holes. Very friendly and helpful pro shop and starter. Beautiful views of the desert, strip, and local community. “I haven’t played this course in a few years, but it’s still as good as I remember. They hosted our small group and everything was perfect and seamless. Course conditions were excellent and the greens were a little on the slow side which helped our group who weren’t looking for tour pace. One of our foursomes lagged behind a bit and the Marshalls were courteous to let us know to keep up to group in front. Beer cart was available often and post game beers were nice in the clubhouse with a snack. I recommend this course and has great value in comparison to a lot of Vegas area courses.
