“We stopped in for a cocktail and an appetizer. I had a classic old fashioned, Bridgewater Grille style, classic and recognizable with just enough originality to make it one I'd make it a point to have again. We ended up having two appetizers, shrimp cocktail and fried portobello mushrooms, both very good. We also had two cups of soup, Brunswick Stew and Clam Chowder. The Clam chowder is a house staple. A silky cream based broth with a Cajun twist. I've never had one quite like this. The chowder alone would bring me back. The soup of the day (dujour if you prefer) was Brunswick Stew, comfort in a cup! My wife had the salted caramel bread pudding. She ate every bite. “We had a private family event for 13. Almost everything was outstanding. Wings, banal bang shrimp and shrimp cocktails were great. All entrees except Kobe steak were on point.
