“Course is okay. Design and layout are good, there just are some tee boxes (par 3 7th i think) that are just atrocious. Also don't play here on a Friday after work. As I was finishing up the front 9 they randomly let a whole high school team tee off on the back. I just had to replay the front. Super slow on Fridays. “I’ve been golfing here 3-4 times a week for a while now and I genuinely love the course and the staff. Today I came out after work for a quick 9 holes as a solo, keeping good pace (actually ahead of schedule). On the 16th fairway, a group behind me hit into me—ball came within 2 inches of my head. I felt the wind off it. They then pulled right up on me like I was holding them up. I’ve never left mid-round before, but I packed it in because I was so pissed off and honestly a little rattled. Whether it’s tighter tee times or whatever’s changed, this isn’t safe or fun anymore. I don’t want to stop coming, but paying to get rushed and nearly taken out isn’t worth it. “Went out to Black squirrel golf course today! Expensive but amazing quality course and everything! Other than the amout of money its a 10/10 recommend! Love it here. Amazing customer service and amazing food also. The amount of custom things they have is a big amount and so many diffrent styles. I have never been more happy with a place in my life. “This one is hard for me because I like the course, but it still needs some improvement. There's a mix of challenging and easier holes. The fairways were in great shape, the greens we okay but not real smooth. The tee boxes were mostly in terrible condition. It has improved since last year. I believe they recently have new owners. People were very friendly and it's a good value. So I would still recommend it. They have a simulator for lessons, rentals, and winter leagues. Snack bar upstairs.
