“After moving to Lawrence, we were pretty disappointed with the lack of baseball facilities/batting cages that were available for my 11 year old son. We had always been members at another facility in Lenexa for several years and were really hoping to find something similar when we moved here. We were lucky to find something even better with A-Team! We have a membership that allows us to rent a lane in 30 minute intervals (usually we do an hour). They have 4 lanes, 1 with a baseball pitching machine and 1 with a softball pitching machine. They also have pitchers mounds in each of the other two lanes as well. This is SIGNIFIANTLY better than old membership at the other facility where we would have to wait in long lines in a VERY crowded and loud space where after an hour, my son would only get to hit 2-3 times because of the lines and chaos. Nothing personal against the other facility, they have great staff and ownership, but they are just so packed all the time unless we went like during school hours. My son has sensory processing issues where he gets overwhelmed and a lot of anxiety with all of the people and the noise. At A-Team, my son is able to focus, and have the lane to ourselves where we can communicate and don't have to worry about yelling over the noise of all the other people. The membership we chose (Platinum which gives us 3 hours or 6 credits a month) is slightly more expensive than what we paid at the other facility, but it's well worth the cost for us and A-Team offers different levels of memberships that cost less than we were paying previously. The facility is small, but very nice, always clean and the staff is super helpful, especially Natalie who has gone out of her way to make sure we are taken care of anytime there are any issues or problems. She even let us borrow their radar gun. The owner of A-Team personally reached out to me after we signed up for our membership to make sure we were enjoying our experience and I appreciated that. Though we haven't used them ourselves, I do know that they also offer private lessons and their trainers seem incredibly knowledgeable and work great with baseball/softball players of all ages. We often see them up there working with kids while we are up there. They also have hit-trax which is very cool and a great tool for hitters to use.” — Jordan B, rated 5 out of 5 on Google (2 years ago)

“My kids love coming here to hit! We bring them about 2-3 times a month to hit off the machines. I also like that we can book the whole facility when we need to move our team practice indoors on rainy days. So glad to have this in our community!” — Natalie Kohl, rated 5 out of 5 on Google (3 years ago)
