Choosing indoor golf in Salt Lake City

Quick answers drawn from what the 7 listings here record. We do not rank venues as cheapest or best; missing details are left unknown.

Pay by the hour or join a membership?

3 of 7 listings record an hourly price. A membership option does not mean hourly public play is unavailable, and an hourly price does not confirm public access — check each venue's terms.

How firm are the listed prices?

3 of 3 recorded hourly prices are flagged as an estimate. Prices may be per bay or per person and can change by time of day — compare the pricing units in the booking table and confirm with the venue.

Want lessons, or just play?

1 of 7 listings list indoor lessons or a PGA professional on staff. If you only want bay time, a lesson listing does not guarantee open practice slots.

Indoor golf in Salt Lake City: FAQ

How do I find golf simulators near me in Salt Lake City?

Forest Dale offers simulators inside its golf clubhouse through Salt Lake City Golf. Tee Box lists 336 W Broadway, Suites 105–107. Forest Dale publishes public hourly reservations, while Tee Box presents a membership-focused performance facility. Choose the access model first, then confirm directions and a reservation.

How much does a simulator session at Forest Dale cost?

Salt Lake City Golf publishes $45 per hour per bay, with up to four players allowed per bay. This is not a separate $45 charge for each player. Confirm your booking duration and total when reserving; the rate is a specific Forest Dale offer rather than a citywide price estimate.

Can I use the Forest Dale simulators without joining a club?

Yes. The city's simulator page explicitly says the clubhouse simulators are open to the public. Public access does not guarantee an available bay, so reserve a session and follow the check-in instructions. The operator asks visitors to arrive five minutes before their booking.

Do I need my own clubs and balls at Forest Dale?

Bring your own clean clubs because rental clubs are not available. Forest Dale supplies simulator balls and tees and requires use of its provided balls. Clean sneakers or spikeless golf shoes are required; metal spikes and outdoor boots are not allowed. Food and drinks must stay outside the hitting bays.

What does Tee Box Salt Lake City offer beyond a simulator bay?

Its location page lists Trackman, Sportsbox AI and Smart2Move force plates in the bays, a gym with Tonal and Proteus, and a WellPutt putting green. Performance memberships include a TPI-certified coach and assessments. Confirm which services belong to your membership tier rather than assuming all memberships include coaching.

Can I compare Tee Box's membership promotion directly with Forest Dale's hourly rate?

No. Forest Dale publishes a $45 per-bay hourly rate, but the checked Tee Box page advertises founding-member savings without a complete membership price. Tee Box also lists promotional tours, assessments and fitting offers; those are not public hourly simulator rentals. Request full membership costs, commitments and booking rules before comparing.
