Rochester-area indoor golf: Greece bay rates and Ravenwood's Victor simulator

For a simulator session around Rochester, AVID publishes a detailed rate table for its Greece facility, while Ravenwood Golf Club offers a separate indoor-simulator reservation in Victor. Both are area options rather than verified Rochester-city locations. Do not confuse an outdoor tee time with an indoor booking.

Official operator pages checked October 17, 2026. This shortlist is not a complete inventory. AVID uses a Rochester mailing address, but its operator social listing identifies the town of Greece; Ravenwood is in Victor. The fetched AVID rate page is headed 2026 even though older search snippets retain earlier year labels. Its weekday discount card also has an arithmetic inconsistency noted below.

AVID Indoor Golf

Nearby Greece — 3655 Ridge Road West, with a Rochester mailing address; not Rochester proper

AVID describes six Full Swing hitting bays. Its 2026 table lists $45/hour Monday–Friday 8 AM–5 PM, $50/hour on weekday evenings and weekends, and $60/hour for wide-screen simulators; senior discounts are listed separately. Rates buy simulator time, not admission per person, and the operator allows one to four golfers per simulator. A weekday discount card costs $175 for five hours, although its heading says $34/hour; use the package total rather than that inconsistent headline.

Ravenwood Golf Club — indoor simulator

Nearby Victor — 929 Lynaugh Road; not Rochester proper

Ravenwood's official reservation page explicitly links to a year-round indoor simulator separately from outdoor tee times. Its customer portal supports managing reservations. The checked simulator page does not establish a dependable hourly price, launch-monitor model or party allowance. Select the Simulators booking and confirm those details rather than applying the golf course's outdoor green fees or membership terms.

Choosing indoor golf in Rochester

Quick answers drawn from what the 7 listings here record. We do not rank venues as cheapest or best; missing details are left unknown.

Pay by the hour or join a membership?

2 of 7 listings record an hourly price. A membership option does not mean hourly public play is unavailable, and an hourly price does not confirm public access — check each venue's terms.

How firm are the listed prices?

2 of 2 recorded hourly prices are flagged as an estimate. Prices may be per bay or per person and can change by time of day — compare the pricing units in the booking table and confirm with the venue.

Want lessons, or just play?

1 of 7 listings list indoor lessons or a PGA professional on staff. If you only want bay time, a lesson listing does not guarantee open practice slots.

Booking for a family or group?

3 list private events, buyouts, or private suites. Age rules and live availability are not confirmed here; check any recorded capacity with the operator before booking.

Compare the details each venue has listed. Membership prices are not public-play rates; an hourly headline does not establish public or member eligibility. Listed hours and booking links do not show live bay availability. Confirm details with the venue before booking.

Indoor golf in Rochester: FAQ

Are these two researched options inside Rochester city limits?

No. AVID's Ridge Road West facility is in Greece despite its Rochester mailing address. Ravenwood lists Victor. They are labeled as nearby alternatives, not counted here as Rochester-city inventory.

Are AVID's hourly prices multiplied by the number of golfers?

The operator says rates are for simulator time, not per person, and allows one to four golfers per simulator. Its guidance recommends at least one hour per player for an eighteen-hole round, so group size still affects the time you should reserve.

How do AVID's standard and wide-screen prices differ?

The 2026 page lists standard simulator time at $45/hour Monday–Friday 8 AM–5 PM and $50/hour on weekday evenings and weekends. Wide-screen simulator time is listed at $60/hour, with separate weekday senior discounts.

Is AVID's weekday discount card really $34 per hour?

The page labels it $34/hour but also charges $175 for five one-hour sessions or ten half-hour sessions, which works out to $35/hour. Confirm the sale terms; this guide does not silently reconcile the conflicting figures.

Which Ravenwood booking button is for indoor play?

Choose Simulators, not Tee Times. The official page provides separate links for the year-round indoor simulator and the outdoor course, plus a customer portal for managing reservations.

Can I rely on a Ravenwood outdoor rate for the simulator?

No. A dependable simulator rate was not established on the checked indoor booking page. Confirm its price, duration, equipment and group allowance in the simulator reservation or directly with Ravenwood.
