Metairie indoor golf: public TrackMan bays next to Drew Laborde's separate academy

Drew Laborde's indoor facility on Metairie Road is not limited to academy students: it offers hourly TrackMan bays for practice and virtual rounds. The teaching academy next door is a separate service, not a second recreational venue. Back Nine's Metairie page still says Coming Soon, so it is not counted as current playable access here.

Official facility, homepage and Back Nine announcement checked October 17, 2026. This is not live availability. Drew Laborde's pricing table and FAQ give different operating hours, and the Monday–Thursday tariff leaves 2–3 PM unspecified. Confirm the chosen slot, price and ten-percent added sales tax before paying.

Indoor golf in Metairie: FAQ

Are Drew Laborde's academy and indoor rental facility two separate public lounges?

No. The operator distinguishes its teaching academy from the two-bay practice-and-play facility at 1509 Metairie Road. Lessons, fittings and repairs are offered next door; they should not be counted as another ordinary rental venue.

Is a Drew Laborde indoor bay charged per golfer?

No. The price is per bay per hour regardless of whether one, two, three or four golfers share it. Each of the two bays accommodates up to four golfers.

Does the published Metairie hourly rate already include tax?

The facility page says a ten-percent sales tax is added to purchases from June 1, 2025. Confirm the final taxed reservation total rather than treating the displayed hourly number as all-inclusive.

Can I hire clubs or bring my own drinks to Drew Laborde's indoor facility?

Bring your own clubs: its FAQ says no clubs are available for rent. It welcomes outside food and beverages, including BYOB, and asks visitors to act responsibly.

What if I cancel a Drew Laborde bay less than forty-eight hours before play?

The facility says you will be charged for a cancellation within forty-eight hours, with that fee applied as store credit. Card payment is required even for walk-ins; cash is not accepted.

Is Back Nine Metairie confirmed open for a round?

Not in this shortlist. The fetched local operator page prominently says Coming Soon and links notification and demo waitlists. Generic public-access and twenty-four-hour text lower on that page does not establish an opening or a playable tee time.
