Mechanicsburg indoor golf: E6 rounds, private-room requests and BYO food
Next Shot Golf is a verified recreational booking option on Simpson Ferry Road, combining E6 Connect golf with selected multi-sport simulators and club repair. Its mix of open and enclosed spaces makes the room request important: a general simulator reservation should not be assumed to secure the largest private room.
Official operator pages checked October 17, 2026. This is a one-option shortlist, not a local venue census. Back Nine Mechanicsburg's local page is explicitly labeled Coming Soon with a waitlist, so its generic public-play and 24/7 copy is not treated as proof of an operating branch. Next Shot's stated simulator count and room breakdown do not reconcile.

Choosing indoor golf in Mechanicsburg
Quick answers drawn from what the 3 listings here record. We do not rank venues as cheapest or best; missing details are left unknown.
Want lessons, or just play?
2 of 3 listings list indoor lessons or a PGA professional on staff. If you only want bay time, a lesson listing does not guarantee open practice slots.
Compare the details each venue has listed. Membership prices are not public-play rates; an hourly headline does not establish public or member eligibility. Listed hours and booking links do not show live bay availability. Confirm details with the venue before booking.

Golf courses near Mechanicsburg include Armitage Golf Club, West Shore Country Club and Liberty Forge. Check each course directly for public access, then sharpen your game at the indoor simulators above.
Outdoor golf weather in Mechanicsburg ranges from average summer highs near 84°F to average winter lows around 27°F (based on 10 years of climate data), so the indoor bays here keep your game going year-round, whatever the season.
The operator says reservations are not required but are highly recommended. A walk-in therefore remains subject to a suitable simulator being available.
Can I bring dinner to Next Shot's Simpson Ferry Road facility?
Yes. Next Shot explicitly describes itself as BYOF and BYOB, and mentions restaurants in the strip mall. Confirm any event-specific restrictions when organizing a group.
Does every Next Shot simulator include soccer and hockey games?
No. The operator specifically assigns its multi-sport package to two simulators. Request one of those if non-golf games are central to your visit.
Can I book an operating Back Nine Mechanicsburg session from its launch page?
The reviewed page says Coming Soon and directs visitors to a notification list and demo waitlist. Confirm an actual opening before treating its general booking language as available play.
When does Next Shot close on Sunday compared with Saturday?
Sunday is listed as 9 AM–5 PM, while Saturday is 9 AM–11 PM. Do not carry Saturday's evening hours into a Sunday plan.
How many private rooms should I assume Next Shot has available?
Ask for the specific room. Its page mentions two private rooms, one semi-private room and two open simulators while separately stating four simulators, so the exact current configuration needs confirmation.
