Glastonbury shared-room golf with clear reservation terms
Oakwood Virtual Golf supplies eight simulator bays in Glastonbury with a social layout, bar and ordinary hourly room reservations. The operator's reservation terms are unusually useful: reserved time is charged even if you finish early, and arriving before the session protects your playing time.
Reviewed October 17, 2026. This non-exhaustive shortlist establishes public hourly play from the operator's FAQ. The old Rex reservation URL fetched as the platform's marketing page, not a working local calendar; contact Oakwood for current booking and rates.
Oakwood Virtual Golf
293 Oakwood Drive, Glastonbury, CT 06033
The official homepage identifies eight bays and a full-service bar; its FAQ describes ordinary hourly room bookings with no per-person or extra group fee. It asks guests to arrive 10–15 minutes early, charges the reserved duration and requires at least 24 hours' notice for changes or cancellation. Bring clean clubs and use the venue's supplied balls. Confirm current booking instructions directly because the old Rex link did not resolve to a local calendar.

Indoor golf in Glastonbury: FAQ
Is Oakwood local to Glastonbury?
The operator gives 293 Oakwood Drive, Glastonbury, and describes eight simulator bays. This is not a nearby Hartford address.
Does each player pay a separate golf fee?
The FAQ says room time is charged hourly, not per person, and does not add a fee simply for several players. Ask for the actual current hourly rate and bay guest limit.
Can I pay only for time actually used?
The operator says guests are charged for the time reserved, even if they use less. Book a realistic duration instead of reserving extra time casually.
How early should I arrive?
Oakwood asks players to arrive 10–15 minutes early so setup does not delay the booked start.
Can I use my own balls and clubs?
Clean personal clubs are encouraged, but the FAQ says the supplied regulation Callaway balls must be used for the system. Rental sets are listed, with availability to be confirmed in advance.
How should I cancel or find the current booking link?
The FAQ asks for at least 24 hours' notice, preferably 48. Contact Oakwood directly: the old Rex URL fetched as a platform marketing page, so it was not verified as a working local calendar.
