Friendswood-area indoor golf: Timber Creek rentals and a Baybrook coaching appointment
Golf Performance Group at Timber Creek gives Friendswood golfers both nonmember simulator rental and longer-term coaching memberships. GOLFTEC Baybrook is a different Gulf Freeway training destination using a Friendswood mailing address. It should not be treated as a second confirmed public hourly lounge or confused with a Timber Creek practice membership.
Official GPG and GOLFTEC Baybrook pages checked October 17, 2026. Postal labels are not municipal-boundary proof. Baybrook's page mixes Friendswood, League City/Webster and an unrelated Baton Rouge description; rely on the specific Gulf Freeway address and confirm the appointment locally.
Golf Performance Group at Timber Creek
Friendswood-listed destination — Timber Creek Golf Club, 4554 FM 2351
The operator explicitly offers nonmember hourly simulator rental for measured practice or a virtual round, alongside coaching and supervised practice. Ask for the current hourly bay price and equipment assignment. Adult Player membership is $199 monthly and Performance is $299 monthly, with a three-month minimum and 30 days' cancellation notice; both include coaching and unlimited simulator hours subject to arrangements. Those are recurring training subscriptions, not hourly rental rates. The site describes indoor bays opening onto the range.
Appointment-based golf instruction and fitting at a separately listed Gulf Freeway center. Treat it as a training service, not an established walk-in social simulator rental. Its page advertises a first Game Evaluation offer at $99 alongside a $150 figure, with location-dependent conditions; neither is an hourly group-bay tariff. Call 281-557-0015 to confirm the center, current evaluation price, practice-plan access and available services before paying.

Choosing indoor golf in Friendswood
Quick answers drawn from what the 3 listings here record. We do not rank venues as cheapest or best; missing details are left unknown.
Pay by the hour or join a membership?
1 of 3 listings record an hourly price. A membership option does not mean hourly public play is unavailable, and an hourly price does not confirm public access — check each venue's terms.
1 of 1 recorded hourly price is flagged as an estimate. Prices may be per bay or per person and can change by time of day — compare the pricing units in the booking table and confirm with the venue.
Want lessons, or just play?
2 of 3 listings list indoor lessons or a PGA professional on staff. If you only want bay time, a lesson listing does not guarantee open practice slots.
1 list junior programs or a family-friendly amenity. Age rules and live availability are not confirmed here; check any recorded capacity with the operator before booking.
Compare the details each venue has listed. Membership prices are not public-play rates; an hourly headline does not establish public or member eligibility. Listed hours and booking links do not show live bay availability. Confirm details with the venue before booking.

Outdoor golf weather in Friendswood ranges from average summer highs near 89°F to average winter lows around 50°F (based on 10 years of climate data), so the indoor bays here keep your game going year-round, whatever the season.
Can a nonmember rent a simulator at Golf Performance Group?
Yes. GPG's official page expressly offers hourly simulator rental without membership for measured practice or virtual golf. Request the current rental tariff and reservation.
Does GPG's $199 figure buy one simulator hour?
No. It is the monthly Adult Player coaching membership, with a three-month minimum and 30 days' cancellation notice. Hourly nonmember rental is a separate product.
Where do I go for GPG rather than GOLFTEC Baybrook?
GPG lists Timber Creek Golf Club at 4554 FM 2351. Baybrook lists 19074 Gulf Freeway; these are different destinations.
Is Baybrook's Game Evaluation a public group round?
No. It is a teaching/evaluation appointment, with offer conditions to confirm locally. This guide does not establish recreational public hourly rental at that center.
Why should I check Baybrook's address instead of relying on its page description?
The page lists a Friendswood mailing address but also includes League City/Webster labels and unrelated Baton Rouge copy. Confirm 19074 Gulf Freeway with the local team at 281-557-0015.
Does GPG offer a structured program for beginning children?
Its Kids Academy is for ages 12 and under, listed at $175 monthly with weekly one-hour group practice and simulator access. It carries a three-month minimum, so it is not a one-off children's rental price.
