Columbia-area simulator golf: Irmo phone bookings and Lexington member access
This Columbia-area comparison deliberately looks beyond the city proper. Anchor Links at Anchor Lanes in nearby Irmo offers a Full Swing golf suite with telephone booking. Birdi Box in nearby Lexington is an open, operating simulator club, but its current booking access is members only rather than public hourly play.
Official operator and operator-linked booking pages checked October 17, 2026. Irmo and Lexington are separate communities, not Columbia inventory. Anchor's Coming Soon label applies to its online booking link, while the same page offers telephone tee times. Birdi Box's membership table and FAQ disagree about PRO booking lead time and CORE extra-hour discounts.
Anchor Links at Anchor Lanes
Nearby Irmo — Anchor Lanes, 1057 Lake Murray Boulevard; not Columbia proper
Anchor Lanes identifies two Full Swing simulators in its golf suite. The dedicated golf page directs visitors to call 803-732-7880 for tee times, lists separate booking and walk-in hours, and links a required waiver. Its online simulator-booking link is labeled Coming Soon, not a functioning reservation guarantee. A current ordinary hourly golf rate was not established; the homepage's bowling prices and golf birthday package's per-guest charge are different products.
Nearby Lexington — 5357 Sunset Boulevard; not Columbia proper
The about page says the club is now open with three Uneekor bays, Swing Optix cameras and GSPro. The join page and Alba booking both restrict current play to members. CORE is $99 per month for ten hours and PRO is $149 per month for twenty, each with a $99 initiation fee. Reservations are required for 24/7 access, monthly hours do not roll over, and individual reservations are capped at three hours. Confirm conflicting booking-window and additional-hour discount details in the membership agreement.

Choosing indoor golf in Columbia
Quick answers drawn from what the 3 listings here record. We do not rank venues as cheapest or best; missing details are left unknown.
Pay by the hour or join a membership?
1 of 3 listings record an hourly price. A membership option does not mean hourly public play is unavailable, and an hourly price does not confirm public access — check each venue's terms.
1 of 1 recorded hourly price is flagged as an estimate. Prices may be per bay or per person and can change by time of day — compare the pricing units in the booking table and confirm with the venue.
Want lessons, or just play?
1 of 3 listings list indoor lessons or a PGA professional on staff. If you only want bay time, a lesson listing does not guarantee open practice slots.
1 list private events, buyouts, or private suites. Age rules and live availability are not confirmed here; check any recorded capacity with the operator before booking.
Compare the details each venue has listed. Membership prices are not public-play rates; an hourly headline does not establish public or member eligibility. Listed hours and booking links do not show live bay availability. Confirm details with the venue before booking.

Indoor golf in Columbia: FAQ
Are these simulator venues actually in Columbia?
No. Anchor Links is in nearby Irmo and Birdi Box identifies its club on Sunset Boulevard in Lexington. They are area alternatives, not Columbia city listings or additions to a Columbia directory count.
Does Anchor Links' Coming Soon button mean the golf suite is not operating?
The label is attached to online simulator booking. The golf page separately provides telephone tee-time booking, walk-in guidance and a required waiver. Call to confirm a playable slot rather than relying on that online button.
Are Anchor Lanes' bowling prices also its simulator prices?
No. The homepage's per-game bowling rates and the golf party package's per-guest price do not establish an ordinary hourly simulator rental. Ask Anchor Links for the golf charge and group limit.
Can I book Birdi Box without joining?
Not under the current terms. The join FAQ says it is presently members only, and the operator-linked Alba calendar requires the appropriate membership. Future public access is a proposal, not a current public-play option.
What hours and guests do Birdi Box CORE and PRO include?
The plan table gives CORE ten bay hours per month with up to two guests per reservation and PRO twenty hours with up to three guests. CORE is $99 per month and PRO $149 per month, each with a $99 initiation fee. Hours do not accumulate into the next month.
Which Birdi Box membership details need confirmation?
The PRO table says booking opens twenty-one days ahead, but the FAQ says thirty. CORE's table gives a thirty-percent additional-hour discount, while the FAQ broadly mentions fifty percent. Confirm the actual agreement rather than silently choosing the more generous version.
